Long walks in cold light, kept on film.
I photograph coastlines, treeline, and the quiet edges where weather does the composing. Everything here was made on foot, mostly before the light was any good.
Prints are made in small runs, on cotton rag, signed and dated on the reverse. If a frame here isn't listed for sale yet, it usually will be — ask.
Most of this work comes from a few return trips to the same stretches of coast. I've learned that a place gives you nothing on the first visit and most of what it has on the fifth. So I go back.
